Graphic Designer

Primary Purpose :
As a valuable member of our Marketing team this individual is responsible for Producing creative, compelling, on-brand, on-strategy print and web communication materials to support marketing, business development, and sales initiatives. Developing concepts, establish design layouts, manage copy, and produce polished final designs for brochures, direct mail, e-mails, landing pages, spec sheets, e-newsletters, event signage, brand identity pieces and print ads. Manage and maintain content for ZOLL’s web properties. Maintain and update ZOLL’s brand standards ensuring consistency across all communication platforms. Minimal travel required, particularly in the first six months in order to visit trade shows and attend meetings that will expand the individual’s understanding of the ZOLL brand in various settings.

Competencies :
To qualify for this position the candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a related field addition to:

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Expertise with the QuarkXpress, Adobe Creative Suite, including the latest versions of Photoshop and Illustrator, etc.
• Knowledge in XHTML, CSS, CMS (content management systems), JavaScript, Dreamweaver, video editing software, Flash and exposure to ActionScript required. Experience in .aspx, Ektron CMS, .php, .asp, .NET, Visual Studio desirable.
• Ability to apply strong conceptual, visual and interaction design skills to present ideas clearly
• Work well with various internal customers representing corporate and customer market segments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be comfortable with medical subject matter and willing to be educated on ZOLL’s product portfolio
• Portfolio of RECENT URLs and print design is a must.
