VEST Project Manager

Primary Purpose :
As a member of our Clinical Affairs team this in-house Clinical Project Manager will work collaboratively with other members of Clinical Affairs in the design, development, management and coordination of clinical trials from inception through completion. This role will be instrumental in managing study progress and creating clinical reports. In addition, the Clinical Project Manager is responsible for assuring that Site Managers and CRAs are adequately trained to support study needs. The Project Manager will be responsible for management of timelines and resources, adherence to regulations regarding conduct of clinical trials, and will assist with maintenance of key relationships through interface with study investigators and research personnel.

Competencies :
To qualify for this position the candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in biology, physical sciences, nursing (BSN or equivalent certification and experience) or equivalent experience in related field addition to:

• Ten+ years medical science/clinical study experience, with 5+ years experience in performing large clinical trials. Demonstrated experience in project management and vendor & customer interface. Experience in cardiovascular devices and interventions preferable.
• Knowledge of FDA guidelines and regulations governing conduct of clinical trials.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent presentation skills to develop clinical studies material in order to train physicians and clinical staff on study device and procedures and excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with physicians and clinical staff personnel.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite, Project, Visio; basic knowledge of applied statistics.
• Ability to travel up to 40% domestically, with international travel, when necessary.
