Technical Service Technician II

Primary Purpose :
As a valued member of the Technical Services team this individual will be responsible for troubleshooting Zoll products to the board level failure or mechanical failure to determine root cause of the failure and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with established procedures. Assist Technical Service Representatives in obtaining Purchase orders and additional information on unit failures. Make recommendations to improve current procedures and assist in the implementation of new procedures. Train and assist less Senior Technicians, Distributors and Customers on ZOLL Service Techniques. Perform mechanical and software upgrades to ZOLL products. Work within limits of prescribed procedures to ensure accurate completion of unit recertification. Compile and record test results and ensures compliance with QSR/ISO requirements. Discuss technical problems encountered while troubleshooting or testing with Senior Technician or Supervisor. Other duties as assigned.

Competencies :
To qualify for this position the candidate must have a minimum of an Associates Degree in addition to:

• 3-5 years of experience
• Must be able to read and understand diagnostic data.
• Must be able to read and understand Technical schematics.
• Must be able to setup and use test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other input/output electronic test equipment.
